Our commitment to quality and craftsmanship is exemplified by our partnership with a distinguished production facility in Baden-Württemberg, southern Germany. This manufacturer is responsible for both the initial sample creation and the complete final production of a great part of our garments. Here, an exclusive range of SPECTRUM STUDIOS styles are meticulously crafted in well-thought trough quantities, with attention paid to every detail.

Each piece is lovingly created by a dedicated team from start to finish, ensuring an impeccable result that meets our exacting standards. Through this collaboration with a local production facility, we aim to preserve and celebrate traditional craftsmanship while supporting local manufacturing. This approach not only guarantees superior quality but also allows us to maintain a close relationship with our artisans, fostering a sense of pride and expertise in every garment we produce.

Womenswear and limited editions

Our limited editions for women's and men's wear, along with accessories, are meticulously crafted in a small, specialized atelier in Kiel, nestled in northern Germany. This intimate workshop serves as the heart of our production and sampling process for womenswear, embodying our commitment to quality and attention to detail. By partnering with this local manufacturer, we ensure that each piece receives the utmost care and craftsmanship, reflecting our dedication to preserving traditional German tailoring techniques while creating contemporary, limited edition designs.

Accessoires

Our blankets and scarves are woven at one of Germany's oldest and most esteemed weaving mills, a testament to our dedication to quality and tradition. This historic establishment, with its centuries of expertise, brings our designs to life using time-honored techniques combined with modern innovation. By partnering with such a venerable institution, we ensure that each piece not only meets but exceeds the highest standards of textile production.

When our design process is complete, we entrust the crucial task of pattern design to our local partner, Schnittstelle Hamburg. This collaboration exemplifies our commitment to supporting local expertise and maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship. Schnittstelle Hamburg, known for their precision and innovative approach, translates our creative vision into precise patterns that form the foundation of our garments. Their expertise ensures that each piece not only embodies our design aesthetic but also meets our exacting standards for fit and construction. This partnership allows us to maintain close oversight of the production process, fostering a seamless transition from concept to creation, all while supporting Hamburg's vibrant fashion ecosystem.

MATERIALS

Our collection is crafted solely from natural materials, sourced with care and consideration for sustainability. We prioritize direct partnerships with EU manufacturers and embrace upcycling from European suppliers, ensuring a transparent and eco-conscious supply chain.

Wool stands at the forefront of our material selection, chosen for its inherent sustainability and versatility in circular economy practices. We exclusively use pure natural fibers, with the majority of our wool qualities bearing the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certification, guaranteeing ethical sheep farming and land management practices. For our outerwear, we incorporate Lavalan wool insulation, certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100, ensuring it's free from harmful substances and safe for both consumers and the environment. To further our commitment to innovation and sustainability, we use cutting-edge materials like TENCEL™ from Lenzing® and cupro into our designs. TENCEL™ lyocell fibers are derived from sustainably sourced wood using a closed-loop process, offering exceptional comfort with minimal environmental impact. Cupro, a regenerated cellulose fiber made from cotton linter, provides a luxurious, silk-like texture while utilizing what would otherwise be a waste product.

These materials exemplify our dedication to blending traditional craftsmanship with modern, eco-friendly innovations, creating garments that are as kind to the planet as they are to those who wear them.

OUTER FABRIC

We carefully select our outer fabrics to ensure both sustainability and luxury. Our wool, a highly renewable natural fiber, grows on sheep with minimal environmental impact and can be recycled multiple times, supporting circular economy practices. Cashmere, sourced from the undercoat of cashmere goats, offers unparalleled softness and warmth while supporting traditional communities and responsible animal husbandry. Tencel, an innovative lyocell fiber, is produced from sustainably sourced wood pulp using a closed-loop process, providing exceptional softness and breathability. Ramie, one of the oldest plant fibers, stands out for its strength and quick-drying properties, requiring fewer pesticides than many other crops. Linen, derived from the flax plant, is known for its durability and low environmental impact, becoming softer with each wear. Each fabric in our collection is chosen not only for its superior quality but also for its contribution to a more sustainable fashion industry.

INSULATION

For our insulation needs, we turn to Lavalan wool, a natural and environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic materials. Certified by OEKO-TEX Standard 100, Lavalan wool insulation offers excellent thermal properties while reducing our reliance on petroleum-based products. This innovative insulation solution aligns perfectly with our commitment to sustainable outerwear production, providing warmth and comfort without compromising on our environmental values. By choosing Lavalan, we ensure that our garments are not only cozy and functional but also contribute to a more eco-conscious approach in fashion.

LINING

The lining of our garments is just as thoughtfully crafted as their exteriors. We use Cupro, a regenerated cellulose fiber made from cotton linters – a by-product of cotton production that would otherwise go to waste. The production process of Cupro involves recycling and reusing chemicals, making it a more sustainable choice compared to conventional synthetic fabrics. What sets Cupro apart is its silk-like texture and elegant drape, providing a luxurious feel against the skin. By utilizing this innovative material, we’re able to offer our customers a premium lining that not only feels exquisite but also aligns with our commitment to reducing waste and environmental impact in every aspect of our production.
